Ann Coulter Says Trump Might 'Do Something' If He Stopped Tweeting

Ann Coulter on Thursday again went after President Trump on Twitter.
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter on Thursday responded to the news that Twitter is considering labeling tweets, including those from President Trump, that violate its rules.
"Maybe if he couldn't tweet, he'd do something," Coulter tweeted.
The day prior, Vijaya Gadde, Twitter's head of legal, policy, trust and safety, explained during an event sponsored by the Washington Post that the company typically leaves politicians' rule-violating tweets up as it considers them "newsworthy" and wants to give people the opportunity to engage in discussion. Gadde also noted: "One of the things we're working really closely on…is, 'How can we label that?' How can we put some context around it so people are aware that that content is actually a violation of our rules and it is serving a particular purpose in remaining on the platform." Coulter, like Trump, is a frequent Twitter user and often uses it to communicate her frustrations with the President. For the most part, she laments his failure to make good on his promise to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. For example, following the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election, she wrote: "No collusion and no wall. I'd prefer collusion and a wall."
