SK hynix to invest US$ 1 bil. in new semiconductor cluster

The world's second-biggest chipmaker, SK hynix, when it opens its new semiconductor factory complex,... will invest one billion U.S. dollars in the project.
The company was approved yesterday... to build four chip factories in the city of Yongin, just outside of Seoul.
Of the one billion, its subcontractors will get some 7-hundred million in business from the project over the ten years from 2022.
The complex is expected to create around 25 thousand jobs... and bring in more than 50 subcontractors.
The project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2021,...and be completed in late 2024.
