In his address to the nation, Prime Minister Modi said that 27th March must be marked as a proud day in the history of India. With it's latest space mission, India has now entered the exclusive space club, coming at power with America, Russia and China. In an entirely indigenous effort, India launched mission Shakti, an anti-satellite mission that targeted a low orbit live satellite. Mission shakti was a difficult operation which was successful within 3 minutes of launch, added the Prime Minister. 'Mission Shakti' is an important step towards securing India’s safety, economic growth and technological advancement.
