A memorial service for South Korean and Belgian soldiers who fought side-by-side during the Korean War.... was held at the War Memorial of Korea on Tuesday.
Visiting King Philippe of Belgium and Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders...as well as South Korea's Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo were there to pay their tributes.
More than 3-thousand Belgian soldiers fought on the allies' side in the Korean War as part of the UN's peacekeeping force.
Among that number, more than one-hundred Belgian soldiers were killed in battle.... while some 5-hundred were wounded.
