검찰 과거사위, '김학의 사건' 재수사 권고

South Korea's Justice Ministry has asked the prosecution to reopen a probe into the former vice minister of justice, Kim Hak-ui ,... who's accused of sexual assault and bribery.
The former deputy minister is suspected of having raped multiple women at a sex party organized by a businessman who wanted favors.
Police investigated him in 2013, but the prosecution suspiciously ended the probe, citing lack of evidence.
A special commission on past misconduct by the prosecution wants the issue investigated again because it says there's still evidence to look through... and because prosecutors weren't thorough the first time.
The former vice minister has been banned from leaving the country since last Friday when justice ministry officials stopped him from boarding a flight to Thailand.
