With the CPI officially announcing the candidature of former JNU Student Union President Kanhaiya Kumar from Begusarai, he said his fight would be against Fundamental thinking of BJP Candidate Giriraj Singh . He said his fight was not against RJD Candidate Tanvir Hassan and also mentioned CPI will support the Mahagathbandhan.

बिहार के बेगुसराय से सीपीआई प्रत्याशी कन्हैया कुमार के खिलाफ गिरिराज सिंह को बीजेपी ने मैदान में उतारा है । बता दें कि जातिगत राजनीति के आधार पर दोनों ही भूमिहार है और बेगुसराय में भूमिहार वोट बैंक की तादाद ज्यादा है । ऐसे में कन्हैया कुमार का बयान सामने आया है जिसमें कन्हैया ने कहा है कि मैं कट्टरवाद गिरिराज सिंह से लड़ाई के तैयार हूं और महागठबंधन को पूरी तरह से समर्थन करुंगा ।
