Sales of air purifying plants are on the rise in South Korea with the increasingly frequent high levels of fine dust.
The ministry of agriculture and the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation say sales of six plant species jumped 23 percent this year up until March 16th.
Common Ivy and Parlor Palm are able to absorb pollutants into their leaves.
Bengal figs clear the air of airborne allergens, …and Golden Pothos is excellent at reducing carbon monoxide levels.
Officials say they highly recommend having plants at home because they relax the mind and body while serving as air purifiers.
