Water day: plastic threatens life in Galapagos

Park rangers and volunteers collect garbage on the coast of the unpopulated Isabela Island, as tons of plastic waste wash up on the shores of the Galapagos Islands where microparticles end up in the stomachs of endemic species found only in the Pacific archipelago 1,000 kilometers west of mainland Ecuador.
