After encountering the stranger that Mike was following, Emily gets chased by the creatures and escapes the mine and the creature. As she returns to the lodge, she informs the other that Hannah was still alive when she and Beth fell off the cliff and into the mine a year previous
The stranger arrives and informs the group that the mountain is cursed with the evil spirit called the Wendigo who enters the bodies of human who resort to cannibalism. Chris team up with the stranger to free Josh who is left alone in the shed.
