Kings XI Punjab donated Rs five lakh each to families of five CRPF soldiers killed in the Pulwama terror attack in February.The cheques were given to kin of five CRPF jawans hailing from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, who lost their lives in the deadly terror attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama, J&K last month, which left 40 personnel from the force dead.Cheques were distributed among family members of Jaimal Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Maninder Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Tilak Raj.

पुलवामा आतंकी हमले में शहीद हुए जवानों के परिजनों की मदद के लिए भारतीय क्रिकेट ने खुलकर अपना हाथ आगे बढ़ाया है। बीसीसीआई की शहीदों के परिजनों की आर्थिक मदद करने की घोषणा के बाद अब आईपीएल की टीम किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब की बारी थी। पंजाब की टीम ने शहीदों के परिवारों के लिए अपनी दिली भावनाएं जाहिर करते हुए एक घोषणा की।आर अश्विन की कप्तानी वाली पंजाब की टीम इन परिवारों के लिए 25 लाख रुपए दान दिए है। इसके लिए सीआरपीएफ के पांच जवानों के परिजनों को 5-5 लाख रुपए दिए जाएंगे।
