Woodstock 50 Announces Lineup Featuring Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus and The Killers

Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang announced the 50th anniversary
festival lineup on Tuesday. It includes more than a half-dozen artists who performed at the original festival, including Santana, John Fogerty,
John Sebastian and David Crosby. Other headliners include Dead & Company, Chance the Rapper, Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters and The Black Keys. The Woodstock 50 Music and Arts Fair
will take place August 16-18 in
Watkins Glen, New York. The artists will perform on three stages, the Peace Stage, Love Stage and Music Stage. Tickets for the festival go on sale April 22, which is also Earth Day. The original festival, held on the same dates
in 1969, featured performances by
Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Sly & the Family Stone, The Grateful Dead,
Jefferson Airplane and
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
