Congress UP General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra kickstarted her U.P campaign yesterday from Prayagraj. She started her journey from the hanuman temple and then embarked on her 3-day boat ride to PM Modi's constituency of Varanasi. Priyanka plans on completing 100 kilometres on the Ganga, and has several temple visits and interactions planned. Soon after her arrival yesterday, Priyanka said political stagnation in Uttar Pradesh had left the state's youth, women, farmers and labourers distressed and it was her responsibility to change the politics here. Her Ganga cruise is being seen as an effort to navigate her party out of a nearly three-decade long wilderness in the state.
