Brexit secretary: Long extension needs 'clarity of purpose'

Stephen Barclay has reiterated his support for the Prime Minister's Brexit deal and a short technical extension. The Brexit Secretary said he would not resign if Theresa May sought a long extension to Article 50 but added that having a long extension "without a clarity of purpose is clearly not the way forward".
