Despite the drama, the feeling on the set of 'Empire' has remained unchanged. The 'Empire' star conducted an interview on Sunday to promote her upcoming film, 'The Best of Enemies.' Henson refused to comment directly on her 'Empire' co-star Jussie Smollett's legal situation. Taraji P. Henson, via Entertainment Tonight Smollett allegedly staged a racial and homophobic hate crime against himself. The actor pleaded not guilty to 16 felony counts earlier this month. Smollett is still appearing on episodes that were shot before his alleged attack on Jan. 29, but he has reportedly been written out of the remaining 'Empire' episodes. Henson's 'The Best of Enemies' hits theaters on April 5.
