Man on jet-ski makes the most of flooding on submerged Yorkshire roads

As motorists faced misery in the flood waters of Castleford in West Yorkshire today (March 17), others embraced the flooding by jet-skiing down the road.
Video of the enterprising jet-skier shows him performing stunts in the water, where stranded vehicles left by motorists were abandoned after trying to get through.
Both Barnsdale Road and Lock Lane, between Allerton Bywater and Castleford, flooded overnight in the heavy rains that have been covering the north of England, causing untold traffic delays on flooded roads.
