“Tapatan Ni Tunying” celebrates the International Women’s Month by featuring two Filipinas who improve the status of women in their communities. The program first visits tamales maker Laring Cabigting in Bacolor, Pampanga to see how she provides jobs to women in her community. Cabigting explains why she employs more women than men. “Tapatan Ni Tunying” then gets to know community volunteer Josefina Zamora who serves as a health worker in Barangay Villa Rosario, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija years after working as a volunteer teacher. Zamora explains why she leads projects that benefit her neighbors and shares what motivates her to help other people.
