The reboot of 'Roseanne' was infamously canceled in
May 2018 after a series of racist and Islamophobic
tweets by the comedian. Barr compared Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama's aide, to the Muslim Brotherhood and someone from 'Planet of the Apes.' Barr initially took responsibility for the remarks that got her fired. She now believes the former first lady was behind the ABC sitcom's cancelation.
