The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has laid out its one-year plan that focuses on four core values - peace, inclusiveness, fairness and innovation.
The ministry said on Monday that it plans to expand its vision of creating a country where everyone can enjoy culture and sports activities more frequently and freely.
The plan includes promoting peace programs between the two Koreas ahead of upcoming global sporting events,... embracing low-income groups and disabled people by expanding support systems,... pushing for laws to prevent sexual discrimination and harassment in sporting circles,... and establishing a new market with innovative R&D in the content industry.
The ministry said that it will put in some 5 billion U.S. dollars to support the plan.
