Amid speculations over Masood Azhar's death, a Pak minister has now made a statement claiming that the JUD chief was in fact alive and the Pak govt had no info of Masood's death. Claims of the JEM chief's 'death' have been circulating ever since the IAF strikes on JEM camps in Balakot on Feb 27. There are some reports which suggest that Masood was in fact killed in the airstrike in Balakot just days ago by the IAF. There are other reports which suggest that Masood was suffering from a terminal illness and died of renal failure. Some reports also suggest that Masood was suffering from a spinal condition. There is no clarity whether Masood Azhar is either dead or alive and more corroboration is awaited for the same.
