The CBI today filed a supplementary chargesheet to business tycoon Peter Mukherjea in the Sheena Bora murder case. The charegsheet named media baron Peter Mukerjea as an accused in the murder.
Peter has also been charged with criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence. Peter along with co-accused Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai are lodged in Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.
In November last year, Peter had undergone a lie detector test in Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CSFL).
Indrani, Khanna and Rai reportedly killed Sheena and disposed off her body. Sheena was allegedly strangled in a car on April 24, 2012 and her body was burnt and dumped in a forest in Raigad, about 84 km from Mumbai, the next day. The case broke out in August 2014.
