Not racial attack, says K'taka home minister after cops arrest 5 for assaulting Tanzanian girl

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah condemned the incident and sought a report from the Bengaluru police over allegations of delay in registering a police case. However, home minister G Parameshwara said that there was no delay on the part of the police.
"This was definitely not a racial attack. This was a response to an accident.Bengaluru does not have this kind of attitude.Sometimes foreign students overstay even when their passports have expired.
