#MumbaiToxicShock: Bombay HC reprimands BMC for handling of Deonar fire

Bombay high court today came down heavily on the Mumbai municipal corporation for their approach in disposing off the waste generated by the city. The court was looking into the issue of the Deonar dumping ground where the fire brigade is still fighting to keep the raging flames under control. Even after many days, the residents living around the ground are facing heavy smog and health hazards while smoke has been bellowing out of the ground day and night.
