The body of a 19-year-old girl student was on Wednesday found floating in a well of a private college hostel at Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu. Some security staff and students noticed the body of Divya, who was pursuing year B.Com (CA), in the early hours of Wednesday and immediately alerted college authorities, who in turn informed the police. Fire and Rescue Service personnel along with the police retrieved the victim’s body, which had bleeding injuries on nose and ears, police said.
