The BJP has re-imposed its faith in Amit Shah, re-electing him president of world's largest political outfit. From the Prime Minister to the top brass, everyone expressed confidence in Shah & his ability to take the party to newer heights. Awaiting the BJP now are poll tests in states like Bengal and Tamil Nadu where the party has limited presence, but the big question is, will electoral success be Shah's only test?
Amit Shah was arrested on 25 July 2010 in connection with the Sohrabuddin case and charged him with various crimes including the murder, extortion and kidnapping. His political career revived after BJP's victory in the 2014 general election.
