We have seen union ministers and ruling party MPs in the current dispensation dictating what people should eat and not eat. And here is a Congress minister in Karnataka who, minus any scientific backing, has declared that mutton has therapeutic values.
State animal husbandry minister A Manju has said that goats "eat all kinds of greens and hence mutton too is rich with antibodies and helps increase immunity".
