NGO has moved the Supreme Court challenging the order of Delhi High Court which held that audit of three electricity distribution companies in the city cannot be done by Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). The NGO, United RWAs Joint Action (URJA), whose plea for CAG auditing was dismissed by the HC, said that the HC failed to appreciate that "fraudulent manipulation of records by the discoms has resulted in huge loss, not only to the public exchequer but also to the consumers of electricity in Delhi".
