The suspicious presence of a man near the checkpoint outside the Pathankot Air Base caused a security scare on Wednesday. The bearded man was wearing long boots and holding a black bag. Sensing danger, Air Force jawans immediately pinned him down on the ground. The man’s bag was searched, but nothing suspicious was found. Air force jawans allowed him to go, but he was carried into a police jeep and whisked away.
