Pathankot Attack: Fifth terrorist killed on Pathankot air base; one left

The two remaining terrorists holed up in the Pathankot air base were reported killed this evening, bringing to an end the standoff since early Saturday morning. While one was eliminated in a prolonged exchange of fire with the security forces, the other was said to have blown himself up a few hours later.

Addressing the media, Inspector General, NSG, Major General Dushyant Singh said the operation is still on and the air base is yet to be declared safe.
