Rain returns to break 100-yr record, wreaks havoc in Chennai

Rain returned to Chennai overnight on Sunday and on Monday and eclipsed a record that stood for close to a century: The showers took the total rainfall in the city in November to 119.73cm till midnight on Monday, breaking the 1918 record of 108.8cm, till now the highest on record.
