A meeting of Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs on Monday recommended that the winter session of Parliament to begin on November 24 and will be concluded on December 23.
The winter session will have 22 sittings. There are 67 bills pending before Parliament – eight before the Lok Sabha and 59 before the Rajya Sabha.During a Diwali Milan hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs, parliamentary affairs minister M Venkaiah Naidu has briefed the coalition MPs over the month-long session.
