An engineering student of a college in Chennai committed suicide due to ragging by seniors, police said.

The 19-year-old, identified as Krishna Chaitanya hanged himself on Friday night from a ceiling fan in his house at Allapur society in Kukatpally town of Hyderabad, the police said.
