Fire that killed Dalit kids started in room, not outside: Forensics experts

In a startling twist to the Faridabad fire mystery where a Dalit family of four were allegedly attacked by higher caste Rajputs in Sunpedh village, the forensic report now trashes the victim's version. Jitendra, the father of 2 kids, who died when fast asleep on October 20th owing to the fire, had claimed that outsiders attacked their house in the middle of the night. But this contrasts the findings of the FSL report that says based on smoke ash patter, the door was bolted from inside not outside and the fire originated from within the room. The report also suggested that there was no trace of outsiders barging into the premises or of any inflammable substance being thrown from outside. On the contrary, the report hints at fuel being thrown by someone inside the room that night.
