Speaker likely to disallow beef ban bills in Jammu and Kashmir

As the Jammu and Kashmir government continues to stay divided over the beef ban atleast two bills- one seeking de criminalistion and another to do away with the beef ban are expected to be considered in the upcoming state assembly session.

Now, as the session is just a day away the split between BJP and PDP is out in the open. While the national conference continues to mount pressure to lift the ban.
