He said, “I am not in the race for Bihar CM's post. I have no desire for it and neither do I have time for it,” and added, “I have no demands, complaints or expectations. I came to politics from films with no ambition or motive but with a mission.”

When asked why he had suggested Ram Vilas Paswan's name as NDA's CM candidate, the BJP leader said, “I had suggested names of some BJP leaders, I had also suggested the name of Paswan. I didn't say it out of irritation that my name was not in the fray.”
