OROP protest: Right of Dignity war intensifies

The OROP time bomb is rapidly ticking away for the government. Representatives of ex-servicemen, who have been protesting for the implementation of 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) scheme for the last 66 days, are likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week. Earlier, in yet another blow for the government, talks between govt envoy Principal Secretary Nripendra Mishra and Army veterans failed. NewsX learnt from top sources that government still not willing to commit to a deadline to implement One Rank One Pension- something which our retired braves have established as a precondition for entering into any sort of negotiation and calling off the strike.
