Country not confined to BJP opinion on death penalty, says Salman Khurshid

The clamour against death penalty after Yakub Memon's hanging only seems to be growing. BJP leader Varun Gandhi has now demanded abolition of death penalty, saying that a coutnry like India which boasts of being the world's largest democracy, must not be too eager in dealing out death in judgement. Salman Khurshid has reacted on Varun Gandhi's comments. He has said that the country not confined to BJP's opinion on death penalty.
