For Congress leader Gurudas Kamat, a person with humble beginnings does not have the right to aspire to high offices in India. In a distasteful attack on Smriti Irani, Kamat questioned her days spent waiting tables at McDonalds as an argument against her appointment as the HRD Minister. Not only does Kamat's disdainful remarks reek of a shocking elitism but also insults every self made individual in India.
