Rally organised demanding Justice Bhaskar Rao’s resignation in Bangalore

While the state of Bangalore is erupting in protests around him, under-fire Lokayukta Bhaskar Rao is now seeking 'divine' intervention. Meanwhile the Anti-Corruption Brigade was out in full force on the Bengaluru streets after their ultimatum seeking the ouster of Lokayukta Chief Justice Bhaskar Rao expired yesterday. Led by activist lawyer Santosh Hegde Anti Corruption campaigners sought to put pressure on government to sack Rao whose son has been accused of using his father's post to blackmail and extort money.
