Rajnath Singh assures of appropriate action against Delhi rapist cop after Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi assured of swift action against the accused Assistant Sub-Inspector who is accused of raping a woman after allegedly threatening to shoot her to death. “Any such act by any police officer will not be condoned. Strictest action will be taken by us,” he said. On being asked about the progress made in the case, Bassi replied, “He has been arrested. Chargesheet will be filed as soon as possible. He will be dismissed.”
