DMK claims that CM Jayalalithaa is hiding her health status from Public

It is no secret that arch rivals, DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi and the AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, are two veteran leaders of Indian politics who have hardly wasted any time exchanging pleasantries in the last few decades. But even if personal attacks are not new to either of them, the latest public demand from Karunanidhi asking Jayalalithaa to reveal her health status has triggered a row over his remarks being in bad taste. The reports about an ‘unhealthy CM’ started doing the rounds in political circles after Jayalalithaa failed to greet her cheering supporters after being acquitted in a corruption case in May.
