Kerala student scored 100% marks, denied admission in Delhi University

Delhi High Court issued notice to University of Delhi and Hindu College and Hans raj College on a petition filed by a student from Kerala. The student challenged the rules of DU which states that that 10 percent marks will be deducted while calculating best of four subjects in those cases where the student has come from a different board having a different marking pattern. The court has sought the reply by Monday. In the present case, the Kerala student was denied admission in the colleges despite scoring 100 percent ‎in all the subjects.
