The latest incident of suicide in Karnataka has again drawn the focus back on the plight of farmers in Karnataka. The absence of financial help has always been cited as one of the major reasons which has pushed many a farmers towards suicide but NewsX unearths documents which reveal that it's not the absence of financial aid but it's the Karnataka's politicians who are directly linked to the distressing plight of these farmers. the papers reveal how there are many companies owned or linked to ministers & lawmakers which owe thousands of crores of rupees to farmers and have refused to clear these mammoth dues.
Cutting across party lines, the netas have pushed k'taka sugarcane farmers to their present plight.
