Emergency like situation in Delhi, says Manish Sisodia on Jitender Singh Tomar's arrest

Lashing out against the Centre and LG on two recent events that unfolded in the Capital since yesterday, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said that attempts were being made to create an emergency like situation in Delhi. "In the past three-odd months since we formed government, our biggest achievement has been to curb corruption. All corrupt people are now getting together and trying to create emergency like situation. In the CNG fitness scam, the matter came to me a few days back and yesterday I ordered a probe. This was at 1pm and within hours but here was an attempt made to force a new chief on the anti - corruption branch. There is an attempt to take ACB under their control and it is undemocratic," said Sisodia, referring to appointment of joint commissioner of police MK Meena as ACB chief on Monday.
