UP government has denied providing information regarding assets of the chief minister and his cabinet ministers over past five years sought through an RTI application.

The plea was transferred to the confidential department of the state government which claimed it had no information regarding the same.

Publication of Assets and Liabilities Act makes it mandatory for members of the state assembly to submit details of their assets and liabilities within the first 20 days of the new financial year.
