Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi: Arrest based on sensitive information, says Court

India has termed Lakhvi's release erosion of Pakistan's assurance to India. A day after PM Modi's offer to talk to Pakistan, the troubled neighbour has responded with freeing the butcher of 26/11 massacre Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. The Lahore High Court has ordered Pak govt to release Lakhvi from jail immediately, declaring his detention illegal. Lakhvi was in detention under government order since December 18 after a Pakistani anti-terrorism court had granted him bail.
