Rajya Sabha chairperson admits impeachment motion against MP judge

Rajya Sabha chairperson Hamid Ansari has admitted the motion of impeachment moved by 58 members of the Upper House against Madhya Pradesh high court judge Justice S K Gangele accused of sexual harassment of a woman district judge. Admission of motion will now lead to formation of a three-member investigation committee consisting of either the Chief Justice or any other judge of the Supreme Court, one from among Chief Justices of the high courts and one an eminent jurist.
