Notwithstanding the blame game between the ruling Akali-BJP and the opposition Congress on “who emptied the state coffers”, the Punjab council of ministers on Thursday fully endorsed the Vidhan Sabha recommendations for a colossal hike in the legislators’ salaries and allowances.
