Four members of a family brutally assaulted, stabbed repeatedly at Farakka in Murshidabad district of West Bengal after they protested loud music being played at a marriage function close to midnight. One member of the family - Mithun Mondal - died on the spot while his brother and parents who too were attacked and repeatedly stabbed after they rushed in to save Mithun. They are critically injured and undergoing treatment at Jangipur and Murshidabad hospitals. One person has been arrested in this case.
