DA case: Swamy seeks SC order to argue in Karnataka HC

BJP leader and original complainant in the Jayalalithaa disproportionate assets case Subramanian Swamy has complained to the Supreme Court that he is not being allowed to argue or make oral submissions in ongoing Karnataka High Court appeal.

Mr. Subramanian Swamy told a bench led by CJI H.L.Dattu that under the Prevention of Corruption Act he could act as deemed public prosecutor in the case.

The Bench asked Mr. Swamy to obtain a formal order from the HC first and it would then look into the issue.
