A bomb scare broke out in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district today after passengers travelling in a state-run bus raised alarm over an unclaimed tiffin box.

The passengers evacuated the bus and the bomb squad was immediately called.

The bus, which was travelling to Banarhat, is now parked in a field and police investigations are on.
